Mercell is growing fast and we are now in need of a Team Lead for internal IT support. We are looking for a responsible and analytical Team Lead to lead and build the IT support Team. This is a newly created role and you will have the opportunity to influence and shape the future of internal IT support.

Our ideal candidate is one with broad knowledge from IT support and management experience. We are looking for someone who is actively seeking great solutions in order to provide our employees with the IT support they need on a daily basis.

The personal characteristics we see as important to succeed in this role are that you take initiative and responsibility to lead the team in the right direction. You are structured and analytical in your approach to the tasks. As the Team Leader we see it as important that you display strong problem solving skills with a great understanding of people management.

Tasks and Responsibilities  

As Team Lead internal IT support, you will be responsible for leading and building our internal IT support department. There is a need to develop a Platform for internal IT support to all employees internally in the Mercell Group.

  • Establish a Service Desk that will handle IT related questions and issues from users. Inquiries are received via email or telephone
  • Assess needs and arrange for On Site support at Mercell's offices. As of today, our goal is that offices with more than 45 employees should have a local IT resource
  • Continuous work with improvement of processes and routine
  • Develop and manage Service Desk and On Site Support
  • Ensure cross-border collaboration to best create a common platform for support and IT
  • Collaborate with the other Operations teams
  • Personnel responsibility
  • Lead, motivate and develop the team



  • Bachelor related to ICT is an advantage
  • Professional experience from IT support and / or similar managerial experience from IT / SD
  • Experience from using Jira SD, Telavox etc. will be an advantage
  • Management experience
  • Development / support / customer support, preferably within software or SaaS solutions


Start: According to agreement
Extent: Full time, Permanent

Location: Oslo
