Due to significant growth and strategic contract wins in the UK, Mercell UK is looking for a self-driven Technical Implementation & Training Consultant
Tasks and Responsibilities: Technical Implementation & Training Consultant - Software as a Service (SaaS) eProcurement Solution Implementation
Our Complete Tender Management (CTM) solution for procurement and contract management is used in various configurations by over 6,500 authorities and over 50,000 tenders per year. More than 500,000 full tenders have been handled (from planning through contract).
The core responsibilities will be managing and delivering client implementation projects including configuration, training and client support. You will interface with development to address any new technical features required and feedback client issues. You will also provide pre-sales and technical support to other team member with bids, technical solutions, demonstrations and Account Management of selected clients.
A typical implementation is 2 – 4 weeks in duration and mostly done remotely. There may be some face-to-face client meetings and training at the clients’ site in the future, in line with COVID-19 guidelines.
You will also have the opportunity to expand on the scope of your role including taking on an account management role.
3+ years proven experience in implementation and training roles.
- Project management experience would be highly desirable.
- Holistic approach to planned implementation, unafraid of tough calls but quick to build consensus and develop key stakeholder support.
- Technically minded, with good understanding of SaaS delivery.
- Working knowledge of eSourcing, Tenders and Public Procurement an advantage.
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence the decision process and convey solution led value propositions to senior clients.
- The ideal candidate will be a disciplined self-starter, results driven and aiming to achieve career recognition and financial reward.
You will be working from your home office and will report to the UK and Ireland Country Manager.
The role works in partnership with Project Management, Business Development and Account Managers as well as Development and Support. Therefore, cross-company engagement and orchestration is essential.
Depending on your location you may be expected to travel per week, with 2-3 overnight stays per month (not applicable at the moment due to COVID-19).
Starting base salaries from £40,000 - £55,000 dependant on experience per annum, plus annual performance bonus, with a pension contribution of 5%, 25 days’ holidays and a significant medical insurance contribution.
