Mercell is looking for a passionate Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Commercial team. You will work closely with data tasks, developing dashboards and combining and structurizing data. In Mercell you will work with stakeholders across Commercial, Finance and Product on projects that will provide important insights. These Projects that you will be working on can vary a lot and range from transforming raw data, consuming data from our many sources and creating new data models and providing both our commercial and finance teams with powerful insights and reports. You will play a key role in making sure that Mercell is a data driven company. 

Key responsibilities
Implement the Business Intelligence strategy and the Business Intelligence Governance for Mercell Group, in close collaboration with internal stakeholders and technology partners. Ensure that Mercell Group uses insights from data to make informed decisions and take actions that support the overall strategy and business goals.

• Make sure that Mercell is Data literate
• Review and validate data as it’s collected
• Implement new data analysis methodologies
• Create and maintain documentation including requirements, design and user manuals
• Develop and manage Mercell BI solutions (includes dashboard and KPI reporting)
• Ad-hoc analysis and input to managementIdentify development needs in order to improve and streamline operations
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and strategies with technology solutions
• Analyze business processes and requirements
• Develop policies and procedures for the collection and analysis of data

Qualifications and experience

• Minimum a Bachelor's degree
• Expert working knowledge of coding languages such as SQL, Python and such is needed
• Some experience with data management in larger organizations
• Experience from change management and continuous improvements
• Working knowledge of tools such as PowerApps/Power Platform, Data Factory/Data Lakes and Dynamics 365
• Interest and experience within the field of Data science would be highly desirable
• Fluent oral and verbal communication skills in English
• Tableau, Snowflake, Kafka and PostgreSQL experience would be an advantage
