Mercell simplifies the public procurement process! We are a leading supplier of cloud-based tendering tools in the European market. The solutions are used by more than 40,000 suppliers and purchasers across Europe. Mercell simplifies and streamlines public procurement processes, and improves the interaction between purchasers and suppliers. We are currently represented in 9 countries, has headquarteres at Skøyen in Oslo - in total, we are more than 200 colleagues.

We are in an exciting phase with major growth ambitions internationally, supported by Viking Venture - which is a specialized Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)-investor with a great track record in the Nordic market!

We experience that our customers are very satisfied with our solutions - so we are now strengthening our sales organization towards the UK market with an experienced inside sales representative/account manager for our Oslo office!

About the job

  • Our account managers work with B2B sales via telephone and video meetings
  • We are using HubSpot as a sales tool
  • In April we move into new and larger premises at Skøyen (until then our office is at Helsfyr)

Key competencies for a Mercell Account Manager UK include:

  • Native command of English language - written and verbal
  • Good communication skills - ability to both listen and convey
  • Business understanding - ability to easily get an understanding of the customer's business
  • Result driven - achieving results for both the customer, Mercell and yourself - effectively turning prospects and qualified leads into revenue
  • Minimum 2-3 years of B2B experience - preferably solution sales - software/IT
  • Scandinavian language skills will be an advantage
