Udbudsvagten A/S (a part of the Mercell Group) is looking for a high-performing, passionate and result-oriented Sales Manager who will be responsible for achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the sales team. You will contribute on developing the national sales strategy in Denmark in alignment with the overall sales strategy of Mercell group. You will also manage the coaching, objectives setting and performance monitoring of sales representatives.
Who are you
As a Sales Manager, you will be a strong communicator and have good business acumen. You have the ability to build solid client relationships and you will be able to identify opportunities to grow revenue. You are a passionate, determined and result-driven person.
With proven track-records in sales and sales management, you have the ability to lead and motivate a sales team. You know that people are strong assets to help bring new revenue, so you put a great effort in coaching and motivating your team.
Duties and responsibilities
You will be responsible for the sales operation and managing a team of 10 people. You will be tasked with overseeing activities and performance of the team by tracking sales goals and setting sales targets. You will also be responsible for recruiting sales people from time to time.
Selling actively and having your own sales effort and targets will be a natural part of your position. In addition, you will be responsible for aligning the national sales strategy with the overall sales strategy of the Mercell Group, and you will focus on the link between efforts and results. Providing ongoing coaching and training of your salespeople is vital in this role. This includes co-visiting and attending customer meetings with your salespeople in order to develop the team further.
The ideal candidate will have similar experience from a sales organisation where telesales has been an essential part of the sales process. It is a requirement that you have experience managing a sales team.
Education Ideally you will have a relevant high school diploma or a bachelor degree, but more importantly is your experience as a sales manager.
